I hate seeing my friends go through hard times. I wish I could take the sorrow and distress away. The best way to console a friend is by lending them a shoulder to cry on while blessing them with encouraging words and good advice. Sometimes simply listening with your undivided attention is enough to lift a somber spirit. Give someone a hug! (2 Corinthians 1:3-11)
A 20 second hug initiates secretion of oxycotin, popularly referred to as “bonding hormone”. Hug and be hugged! 🙂
I didn’t know that. No wonder a hug can be powerful.
oops oxytocin***
No doubt, you’re a great friend to many!
🙂 I actually don’t have many friends. I’ve always been a loner.
Boy do I need a hug…
Steve 🙂
Me too. Sending a virtual hug your way! 🙂
Wow, what a super virtual hug! I’ll take another, please…lol! And here’s one big one back to you…
(I’m 6’5″ tall and 230 lbs. Mine are big, wrap-around squeezes!)
Have a glorious weekend. Oh, I RB’ed another post of yours today…
Steve 🙂
Awesome! I hope you are enjoying your weekend as well.
I am, actually. Got in a good worship this AM, and a post as well.
I also heard from you! It’s a super good Sunday…
Did you do anything special this weekend?
Steve

Lovely!!!
This is one of my favourite doodles of yours! I decided to check out your blog after you liked one of my posts and this doodle seems very relevant to my life and my friends around me right now. This has given me some inspiration for a descriptive writing piece or two!
Awesome! Thank you so much for stopping by. I’m sure you have a great shoulder to cry on. 🙂 Good luck on your writing!
