The Truth About Positivity

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. (Philippians 4:8)

This post is a continuation of yesterday’s post. There are a lot of misconceptions about positive thinking. People assume that positive thinking fanatics prance around blowing happy bubbles that will solve every problem. The truth is positivity has to travel through darkness to reach happiness. I started training myself to think positive three and a half years ago. With each trial I face I am able to find happiness in the storm a little faster than the trial before. Some days I think a million positive thoughts but can’t manage a smile. All I know is meditating on anything excellent or praiseworthy has always brought a bit of luck into my life. Thinking of such things motivates me to accomplish great things. Sometimes it takes a while but positivity always finds happy.

    Plz do remember I am not a Christian, I don’t believe in any Religion, hence I support! People are happy, it’s cool to me, If they are not happy, something must be wrong… “whatever is true” “think about such things” Sure I like to think and even dream about it… But… In according with others Lord JC should be back soon… no-one have seen Him unto now, May (may not) He came back a lot’s of time’s, (could be) but no one “identify (someone or something) from having encountered them before; know again.” Him… (one word is missing: “recognized”) … repeat again, John 1:1…

  2. “Finally, brothers and sisters” I love Positive, Now I do have to ‘hate’ Negative, like war, violence… sure I don’t like those thinks, but something is needed, as sample, Adam and Eve, did something wrong, … by the way where was the garden of Eden? Adam and Eve where not anymore allowed there (Cry) Next they got two sons… After they got married with an other tribe, and got children, one kills the other… thought: Adam and Eve where the first people on earth, where the (other) tribe came from? Now a strange thought came to me, thanks to the Muslims… In according with them, the killed man, became Jesus, the killer became Mohammed. Hence up-to the moment an conflict, Christians kills Muslims, and Visa Verse… It’s not really Positive, but something I like to let you know.

  3. Amazing…I was thinking about just what you have written here today! Happiness it seems does travel through a darkness to find us sometimes. And I can’t recall the last time I “blew bubbles” while trying to have or to spread positivity, that’s just not what it’s all about.

  4. Yes it does. Like you said sometimes you can think of a million positive things, but not smile. During this time we must pray and continue to move forward anyway.
