Great one! I used to be worried and afraid all the time, until Jesus found me. Now, I am a new person, confident and brave! 🙂
Psalm 27:1
“The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?”
Amen! That is one of my favorite scriptures. I always repeat those words when I’m afraid. And fear runs away.
Facing fears is always difficult. That’s why they are called “fears!” But we do need to remember that God is on our side, so who can be against us! I always liked the quote from President FDR, which says: “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.”
Satan plants seeds of fear and doubt within us. But God reminds us that we can do all things through Christ. Now who are we going to put our trust in?

That is true. I like to start everyday with a series of affirmations for motivation. That’s what inspired the I AM series.
That is a great practice. We need to work toward seeing things through the “eyes and heart” of our Lord. That begins with seeing ourselves as He sees us!

Thanks! I think receiving bad news is the scariest part. But if we don’t fear the news we won’t fear the problem. This fact helps me squash fear quickly!
