I AM Brave!

This world can be a scary place! Those who are brave know how to act under pressure. Put on your superhero cap and take a leap of faith! Remember all the times you were brave by facing your fears.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)

Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LordTheir hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes. (Psalm 112:6-8)

brave: (1) Having or showing courage. (2) Feeling or showing no fear. Not afraid. (definition from merriam-webster.com)

  1. Great one! I used to be worried and afraid all the time, until Jesus found me. Now, I am a new person, confident and brave! 🙂
    Psalm 27:1
“The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?”

  2. Facing fears is always difficult. That’s why they are called “fears!” But we do need to remember that God is on our side, so who can be against us! I always liked the quote from President FDR, which says: “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.”

Satan plants seeds of fear and doubt within us. But God reminds us that we can do all things through Christ. Now who are we going to put our trust in?

      • Thanks…I like quotes of all kinds. Henry Ford once said:

“Whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right.”

Belief in our abilities, or lack of them, can decide a matter in our lives before we even attend to it! The power of positive, (or negative), thinking is real!

Good thing we have power in our abilities through Jesus Christ…

        Enjoy the day, my dear.

      • That is a great practice. We need to work toward seeing things through the “eyes and heart” of our Lord. That begins with seeing ourselves as He sees us!
