I have a habit of working myself to death, until I crash and burn. Then I can’t bring myself to lift a finger until I’m well rested. Today, to avoid a meltdown I decided to watch a movie before work. SHHH, don’t tell anyone! 😉 I’ve learned the valuable lesson of mixing pleasure with work. Take a break from whatever is stressing you. Enjoy yourself!
I either play video games, watch a episode of my favorite show, or watch a movie; helps me wind down before work.
Nice! I love love love movies! ❤
Great! 😀
So true. I’ve done the same thing many times. Definitely need to take time to rest and refresh and refill.
Yup! And it’s easier to work when you get some rest.
Hey there, lady! I have a baseball video game…it’s new so I’m getting used to it…which, ironically is frustrating
However, I also love movies. I’ll bet you watch those Lifetime movies…no, you’re more a “love, comedy” type, I’ll bet…
Anyway, good piece of advice!
Steve 🙂
Ha ha! I do like romance comedies. But I really love physiological thrillers and drama’s. I’m not into sports but I like dance video games. The dances always make me laugh hysterically. They are so silly!
Ah…maybe a “Shawn T” fan? My gosh, moves like those would put me in the ER! I used to be a “3-letter” athlete in school…now, not even 1 star!
I love the mystery-psycho dramas so much…my very favorites too! I’ll watch a romance comedy now and again, but not too often. I AM a big sports fan for NFL and college football…
If you want a real silly experience, rent a “Richard Simmons exercise DVD from the 90’s I think. Wow…that was so popular but absolute “garbage” in my opinion. Still they would probably make you laugh like mad!
Enjoy your weekend, Shannon…talk to you later.
Steve 🙂
I remember Richard Simmons. He was pretty funny. Have a great weekend!
Boy, not to sound judgmental but just as a matter of taste, I couldn’t watch they guy!
Anyway, I’m sure he “laughed and acted crazy” all the way to the bank…
Enjoy your Memorial Day, young lady, and we’ll talk during the coming week.
Steve 🙂
I’ve been there and have also learned to enjoy the little pleasures. Thanks for your words today.
The little pleasures make all the difference. Thanks for sharing!
It’s really indeed to everyone to learn enjoying with them self…distress them self by their own way… by enjoying their own stuffs…….!!!!!!….
It’s so important. A lot of us don’t do it enough or do it too much. lol
Yeah 🙂
