It pays to be kind. How we treat others always comes back to either kiss or bite us on the booty. It’s easy to be nice to those we like. How can you find ways to love and encourage those who are not nice?
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)
kind: Having or showing a gentle nature and a desire to help others. Wanting and liking to do good things and to bring happiness to others. (definition from merriam-webster.com)
Me to always. Except when you mess with my kid! 😀 Then well kind goes out the window! LOL I love this Doodles Invigorated awesome!
P.S. Whoops I meant to answer your question there…I always choose kindness. Even when someone does hurt my kid or even me. I do put some distance between me and the person or situation so that I can gain some clarity and then I reconnect with firm boundaries in place. Awesome post and doodle! 😀 Have a super day!
Thanks for sharing! I do the same. Sometimes I try to be nice without the distance. That usually doesn’t work out well. I’ll start out nice then end up bitter.
LOL! The mama bear in me can get crazy too! Thanks for the sweet compliment!
Love Your Enemies
“…You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven…” (Mat. 5:44)
To do this, we must learn to love through the heart and mind of God, setting aside our human tendencies for hatred and revenge. It is a difficult thing for many to do, and it requires daily work!

Great scripture! Oh yes, it is very hard. I can testify to that! LOL
Oh boy, it that ever true! Anyone who is honest about their lives must confess it’s hard to love those who do bad things to us.
But we must try to think as Jesus does…seeing people through His eyes. It’s a life-long process; that virtue won’t come to us overnight!
Have a great one,
