The choices we make determine our quality of life. Those who are wise have mastered the art of putting their emotions to the side to make the best choice. They observe and learn from their experiences and the experiences of others. Create a good technique to help you sort through your feelings, become clear minded, reflect, and make wiser decisions.
My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. (Proverbs 3:21-22)
wise: (1) Having or showing wisdom or knowledge usually from learning or experiencing many things. (2) Based on good reasoning or information. Showing good sense or judgment. (definition from merriam-webster.com)
Wow, this one can be difficult to do! Even as we get enough experience and understanding to know we are headed for trouble, we may still be tempted by our desires to go there anyway. But that’s when we most need to exercise “will by wisdom” and stop!
It can still be hard to do every time…

Yes, I am learning that now. It is so hard to say no. 😦
Training our minds and hearts to be in tune with the Lord is like sports conditioning. The first days are filled with “hard work and a desire to take a break!”
But as we work into shape, things come easier. We will still be tired at times, but the “work” comes much easier.
Hang tough!

Thanks! I’m hanging. LOL
You will be fine! Pray and meditate on good things. Take time to “love on yourself” and make time to relax during the day…even if you have to put the kids to bed and stay up.
I always love the quiet of the evening!

I think this is the word I most use to describe you. Then again I know you let the Heavenly Father fill and lead you. Which also makes you wise squared.
Aww, thank you. 🙂 I honestly don’t think I’m very wise but following God helps pull out some kind of wisdom. LOL!
