The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. (Psalm 37:23-24)
God will never let me fall. If I stumble, he has the ability to raise me higher than before. This fact always creates supernatural confidence; confidence that moves mountains. When I only have confidence in my own abilities it turns into destructive pride or fear (Proverbs 16:18). Then I start smelling myself. It doesn’t smell like roses; more like rank onions. Cockiness smells sweet when you trust in the Lord. Some say I’m cocky. I just know God got me!
