Life has many journeys; some sweet, some sour, some sweet and sour. It’s easy to get lost in the process, lost in people, lost in effort, lost in purpose. Focusing on the big picture often makes me feel small and unprepared. On a good day I feel invincible. Enjoying each step and admiring tiny advancements helps me to enjoy the process. It helps the good times stand out and bad times seem not so horrible. Sometimes we fall, twisting an ankle or two. Sometimes we glide gracefully like a ballerina. We must keep practicing to perfect our mistakes and add spice to the moves we’ve perfected. Enjoy the dance of life. One step at a time!

This comes at a right moment for me. Thank you! 🙂
Me and you both Sis!
Thank you, Sis! 😀
This is the second post today that had a message for me and I am so grateful!
Awesome! I love how God knows how to place us in the right place at the right time to be encouraged.
Yes and Amen.
I find myself doubting God at times, especially when things get difficult, but here is right here with His unconditional Love and faithfulness and I feel ashamed… How could have I doubted you, God?!
I know what you mean. I’m so glad he is patient with us!
Yes, me too!
Wow, this is right where I am today! Thank you!!!
Awesome! This is something I’ve been reminding myself the past few days. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
This is so beautiful, Shannon. Not only are you an awesome graphic designer, but I see that you’re a poet as well! Ha. I experience the same things- feelings super amazing like I can concur anything that comes my way, and then there are times that I am overwhelmed. I know that God covers me and carries me every step of the way. One step at a time, one day at a time!
Aww, thanks Nic! I don’t know about a poet but I try to mix it up a bit. Lol! Yes, knowing that God is there with every step make life so much easier!
This is so well written Shannon! I always liked the saying “a journey of a 1,000 miles begins with a step.” It’s so true that if we try to do too much at once, our joy can be taken away. But small victories…that’s what it’s all about in so many things of life!
Very good job…
Steve 🙂
Thanks! I like that saying. This is the lesson of patience I’m trying to be content with.
Keep working on both patience and contentment because they are precious virtues to have…but they do take work! I’m speaking to myself as well Shannon!!
How are things going? You can catch me up when you have a moment…
